Getting Started: Unpack phone and accessories, set up the base unit by choosing the best location, insert and charge the handset battery for over 12 hours, and enter the area code for Caller ID.
Setting Up Base Unit: Choose optimal location away from electronic devices and noise. Connect AC power adaptor and telephone line cord. Set the dialing mode (Tone/Pulse) based on your phone system.
Preparing Battery Pack: Charge the battery pack for over 12 hours. The CHARGE lamp indicates charging status.
Entering Area Code: For Caller ID and proper dialing, enter a 3-digit area code or up to five local area codes for 10-digit dialing.
Changing Language: Select between English and Spanish for display and voice guidance.
Making Calls: Pick up handset, press TALK, dial number. Redial last number with REDIAL/PAUSE. Use one-touch dialing with A/B/C keys.
Receiving Calls: Pick up handset, press TALK. Caller ID displays number/name. Use CALL WAITING/FLASH for second line.
Answering Machine: Set day/time, record greetings, select ring time and recording quality. Turn answering function ON/OFF. Play back messages, erase messages, screen calls, and record memos.
Troubleshooting and error codes
