GPS signal cannot be received. Obstruction or poor signal reception. Move the car to an area with a clear signal. Use an external GPS antenna if necessary (for heated or IR-resistant windshields). Ensure the GPS receiver is pulled out to the horizontal position. Avoid attaching films to the windshield that may block signals.
GPS receiver is obstructed by the car's bodywork. Install the unit where the signal is not blocked.
Car's position on map does not match actual street. GPS signal margin of error. Wait for the unit to acquire an accurate position.
Voice guidance cannot be heard. Volume is set too low. Press and hold the VOL +/- buttons on the unit or remote commander.
LCD screen is too bright/dim. Automatic brightness adjustment due to ambient temperature. The unit adjusts brightness automatically. If extreme temperatures occur, a message may appear, and the unit may activate heating or shut off.
