Using the Remote Control

The remote control is your primary tool for interacting with the TV. Buttons include POWER (on/off), MUTING (sound on/off), DISPLAY (shows time, channel, etc.), SCREEN MODE (for picture aspect ratio), PICTURE MODE (for picture settings), JUMP (switch between channels), DIGITAL/ANALOG (switch tuning modes), VOL +/- (adjust volume), GUIDE (digital program guide), RESET (factory settings), CH +/- (channel up/down), MENU (access analog menus), and EXIT (close menus). Number buttons (0-9) select channels directly.

Connecting Your TV

The rear panel features several input jacks: ATSC (digital antenna/cable), VHF/UHF (analog antenna/cable), S VIDEO, VIDEO/AUDIO (composite), and YPBPR/AUDIO (component). Follow the diagrams for connecting antennas, cable boxes, VCRs, DVD players, and satellite receivers.

Setting Up the TV

After connecting, use Auto Program to scan for channels. This process sets up analog and digital channel lists. You can re-run Auto Program or add digital channels manually through the menus.
