Checking supplied items: Ensure all items are present, including the camera, battery pack, USB cable, AC adapter, power cord, shoulder strap, lens cap, and instruction manual.

Inserting battery pack: Open the cover, press the battery eject lever, and insert the battery pack. Close the cover securely.

Charging the battery pack: Connect the camera to the AC adapter using the micro USB cable, then plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet. The power/charge lamp indicates charging status.

Shooting still images: Press the shutter button halfway to focus, then fully to take the picture.

Shooting movies: Press the MOVIE button to start recording. Use the W/T lever to zoom and the shutter button to take still images during movie recording. Press the MOVIE button again to stop.

Viewing images: Press the Playback button to review images. Use the control button or jog dial to navigate.

Deleting an image: Press the Delete button, select the image, and confirm deletion.
