Basic Operations:
  • Inserting Battery Pack: Slide the lock lever, open the cover, insert the battery pack correctly, then close the cover.
  • Inserting Memory Card: Slide the lock lever, open the cover, insert the memory card until it clicks, then close the cover.
  • Charging the Battery Pack: Turn off the camera, connect to a powered-on computer via micro USB cable. The REC/access/CHG lamp turns amber. Charging is complete when the lamp turns off.
  • Setting Date & Time: Navigate to SETUP > CONFG > DATE to set the year, month, day, time, and region.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Message Instructions
ERROR Turn the power off and then on again.
HEAT The camera temperature has risen. Leave the camera in a cool location until the temperature goes down. If recording for extended periods, stop recording.
NoIMG The memory card does not contain playable images.
LowPw There is no remaining battery charge.
BATT Battery charge is insufficient. Battery pack delivering current exceeding maximum discharge current. Different battery pack detected. Battery pack deterioration detected.
FULL Remaining capacity of the memory card is insufficient for recording.
MAX The maximum number of files that can be recorded has been reached.
MEDIA Memory card not inserted properly. Memory card damaged. Memory card format incompatible. Memory card does not support XAVC S movie recording.
NoCRD There is no memory card inserted.
NoDSP The camera is not connected to a TV when playback is started.
PLANE When airplane mode is set to [ON], GPS and Wi-Fi cannot be used.
