Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
General issues 1. Remove and re-insert the battery pack, then turn on the power.
2. Initialize the settings.
Power insufficient Recharge the battery pack. The image sensor cleaning function requires sufficient battery level.
Unable to use memory card. Format? Format the memory card in the camera. If the issue persists, try a different memory card.
Memory Card Error Ensure the memory card is compatible and not damaged. Format if prompted.
Memory card locked Unlock the write-protect switch on the memory card.
Cannot open the shutter since the memory card is not inserted. Insert a memory card or enable "Release w/o Card" in the settings if you wish to shoot without saving.
Internal temp. high. Allow it to cool. Turn off the camera and let it cool down. This may occur after continuous shooting.
System Error Turn the camera power off and then on again. Remove and re-insert the battery if the issue persists.
Unable to magnify. / Unable to rotate image. Images recorded with other products or modified on a computer may not be enlarged or rotated.
Cannot create more folders. The camera has reached the maximum number of folders (999) on the memory card.
