Getting Started

Install the battery by inserting it into the back of the phone and securing the cover. Press and hold the power button to turn on the phone. If not activated, follow onscreen instructions or visit www.sprint.com/activate. To make your first call, use the keyboard to enter a number and press the TALK key.

Key Phone Functions

• Earpiece: Hear callers and prompts.
• Display Screen: View call status, contacts, date/time, signal, and battery.
• MENU/OK Key: Access menus and select options.
• TALK Key: Place/receive calls, answer Call Waiting, use Three-Way Calling, or activate ASR.
• TEXT Key: Access text message entry.
• Navigation Key: Scroll through menus, acts as shortcut.
• Microphone: For clear communication.
• Internal Antenna: For reception/transmission.
• QWERTY Keyboard: Enter text and perform functions.
• BACK Key: Delete characters or return to previous screen/menu.
• END/POWER Key: Turn phone on/off, end calls, return to standby.
• Softkeys: Select softkey actions or menu items.
• Camera Lens: For taking pictures.
• Speaker: Hear ringers, sounds, and caller's voice.
• Volume Button: Adjust ringer/voice volume, scroll menus.
• Camera Button: Open Photos menu or activate camera.
• Battery Release Latch: Open battery cover.
• Micro-USB Connector: For charging/data cable.
• Headset Jack: For optional headset.
