STANLEY warrants this product for 2 years against material and workmanship defects.
Measuring Distance: Point the laser at a wall or object and press ON. Distances are measured from the bottom, top, or endpiece of the tool. Continuous measure mode allows for real-time updates as you move.
Measuring Area: Measure width and length by pointing the laser and clicking to record measurements. The tool calculates the area.
Measuring Volume: Measure width, length, and height similarly to area, with the tool calculating the volume.
Measuring Height: Use 2 or 3 points to calculate the height of tall objects using the Pythagorean Theorem.
Adding/Subtracting: Combine or subtract measurements for total or differential values.
Unit Change: Select preferred units (ft, in, m).
Bluetooth: Pair with the STANLEY Smart Connect app for floor plan creation and data management.
Sound: Turn beeps ON or OFF.
Power Off: Hold ON for 10 seconds or let it auto-off after 90 seconds.

| 302 | Temperature Too Low | Allow the device to warm up to a temperature within the specified Operating Temperature Range. |
| 401 | Hardware Error | Switch the device on/off several times. If the error still occurs, return the defective device to the Service Center or distributor. Refer to the Warranty. |
| 402 | Unknown Error | Contact the Service Center or distributor. Refer to the Warranty. |
