System Requirements: PC running Windows XP, 2000, ME or 98 SE; ADSL connection. Console: Xbox (with Xbox Live Kit or game) or PlayStation 2 (with Sony Ethernet Network Adapter, Central Station CD, and 8MB Memory Card). Requires an RJ45 crossover Ethernet cable.

Installation and Setup:

  • Sharing Internet Connection (Windows XP/2000): Connect adapter to USB, power on PC. Windows detects adapter. Establish internet connection. Navigate to Network Connections, right-click provider, select Properties, then Advanced. Check 'Allow other network users to connect'. A hand symbol indicates successful sharing. Restart PC.
  • PC to PC Connection: Complete Internet sharing procedure. Connect adapter to second PC using RJ45 crossover cable.
  • PlayStation 2 Connection: Connect Sony network adapter to PS2. Connect Thrustmaster adapter to network adapter using RJ45 cable. Establish internet on PC. Power on PS2. Insert Central Station CD. Select 'Get Connected' > 'Setup'. Follow on-screen prompts for country, service provider, auto-detect, IP, and DNS settings. Save settings and test connection. LEDs should light up. Exit diagnostics and select 'Central Station' to follow instructions.
  • Xbox Connection: Connect Thrustmaster adapter to Xbox Ethernet port using RJ45 cable. Establish internet on PC. Power on Xbox. Insert Xbox Live Starter Kit CD. Access game menu, select 'New Account'. Follow prompts for Xbox Live ID, subscription code, payment info, and other details.
