INTRODUCTION
TEMPUS-AG-MS is a battery-powered Bluetooth® / LoRa™, Multi Sensor device. It acquires measurements from sensors of temperature, humidity, flow, and wind speed, transmitting data via LoRa to a TEMPUS-AG-4G/WF gateway. It's available in two models: S4 with 4 inputs (3 sensor + 1 temperature) and S1 with 1 input (1 sensor).
USE
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, in humid environments (IP68 rated). Operating temperature range is -20°C to 50°C, with altitude use up to 2000m. It has a pollution level of 2. Maximum relative humidity is 80% up to 31°C, decreasing to 50% at 40°C.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Designed for outdoor use, can be placed in a buried valve box or mounted on a wall using appropriate hardware. Cleaning involves soapy water and a soft cloth.
APP DOWNLOAD & ACCOUNT CREATION
Download the MyToroTempus App from the App Store or Google Play. Search for "The Toro Company". After installation, activate Bluetooth and create a MyToroTempus account or log in with existing credentials.
ASSOCIATION (Step 2)
Install the battery, sign in to your account, launch the Tempus AG app, and add the TEMPUS-AG-MS from the available devices list. Follow in-app instructions for pairing.
PAIRING WITH TEMPUS-AG-4G/WF (Step 3)
To optimize LoRa connection, install TEMPUS-AG-MS within 800 meters of the TEMPUS-AG-4G/WF gateway. In the MyToroTempus app, select the gateway, enter pairing mode, select the TEMPUS-AG-MS, and send the pairing command. Test the connection.
SENSOR INSTALLATION (Step 4)
Within 10 meters of the device with Bluetooth on, launch the MyToroTempus app, select the TEMPUS-AG-MS, and tap "Add a sensor". Follow the app's instructions for wiring and completing installation.
WIRING
Diagrams show connections for configurable inputs (dry contact, pulse, analog 0-3.5V) and the temperature sensor input (PT100 for S4 only). Red wires provide 3.5V power supply.
GENERAL INFORMATION
