Warranty Information

Toro offers a 2-year full warranty for residential use and a 3-year Power Train warranty. Commercial use is covered for 45 days.

Starting the Engine: Hold the blade control bar, then turn the ignition key (electric-start models) or pull the recoil start handle. For recoil start, pull lightly until resistance, then sharply. Allow rope to return slowly. If the mower doesn't start, contact a dealer. Self-propel Drive: Walk with hands on the upper handle and elbows at sides; the mower will pace you. To back up, stop walking and allow it to roll forward, or manually push it forward slightly. Stopping the Engine: Release the blade control bar. Remove the ignition key on electric-start models. The engine and blade should stop within 3 seconds; if not, contact a dealer. Recycling Clippings: If the bag is on and the bag-on-demand lever is in bagging position, move it to recycling. If the side discharge chute is on, remove it before recycling. Bagging Clippings: Use the grass bag. Install by lifting the rear deflector, attaching the bag to the handle notches, and lowering the deflector. Side-discharging Clippings: Use for tall grass. Move bag-on-demand lever to recycling if the bag is attached. Remove the side discharge chute from the mower.
