General Operation
- Read and follow all instructions before starting.
- Keep hands and feet away from the machine.
- Clear the area of objects; stay behind the handle when the engine is running.
- Always wear substantial footwear and eye protection.
- Do not operate in wet grass or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
- Stop the engine before cleaning or maintenance.
Starting the Engine
- Hold the blade-control bar against the handle.
- Pull the recoil-start handle until resistance is felt, then pull sharply and allow it to return slowly.
Stopping the Engine
Release the blade-control bar.
