1. Preparing the Machine: Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, shut off engine, and remove key.
2. Removing the Existing Brake Assembly: Lift and support the machine, remove lug nuts and wheel, then disconnect brake lines and caliper assembly.
3. Installing the New Brake Assembly: Install spindle, tie rod, rotor, hub assembly, and new brake caliper. Torque various bolts and nuts as specified.
4. Bleeding the Brake Calipers: Requires two people. Push down brake pedal, loosen bleed screw, then tighten. Repeat until no air is released.
5. Installing the Wheels: Install wheels and torque lug nuts.
6. Adjusting the Front Wheel Toe-in: Ensure toe-in is between 0-6 mm and adjust tie rods if necessary.
7. Burnishing the Brakes: Bring machine to full speed, apply brakes rapidly to stop without locking tires. Repeat 10 times.
