Normal Sounds
Sound of Rushing Air: Air moved by the fan.
High Pitched Sound: High efficiency compressors may have this sound during cooling cycle.
Trickling Sound: Droplets of water hitting condenser.
Gurgle/Hiss: Refrigerant flowing through evaporator.
Vibration: Unit may vibrate due to poor construction or incorrect installation.
Air Conditioner Features (general)
Operating Conditions: Outdoor temp.: 64~109°F/18~43°C, Indoor temp.: 62~90°F/17~32°C. Relative humidity less than 80%.
Operating Steps
- Set temperature to coldest.
- Set control to HIGH COOL.
- Adjust louver for comfortable airflow.
- Adjust temperature once room feels cool.
- Ensure airflow is not obstructed.
Air Directional Louvers
Use levers to direct airflow Left/Right, and Up/Down (on some models).
