Overview
The Toshiba camcorder features a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor for H.264 video recording, allowing for extended recording with less memory. It supports high-quality photos up to 16 Megapixels, a color LCD screen, and full HD 1920 x1080p video recording. It also offers HDTV connectivity, easy playback on HDTVs, a built-in CAMILEO® Uploader for Windows users, adjustable ISO and white balance, and 16x digital zoom. Special effects like Time Lapse and Slow Motion are also included. The device has limited built-in memory, expandable with SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, and can function as a webcam.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Solution
Files on memory card do not appear correctly (LCD shows "!") The "!" symbol indicates the SD™™ card speed is too slow or the card has corrupted files. Format the SD™™ card using the camcorder.
Indoor photos appear dark and blurry The camcorder extends exposure time in low light conditions. Hold the camcorder (and lens) steady for several seconds while taking the photo.
How to charge the battery Use the supplied USB cable or AC adaptor. The camcorder must be OFF. A blinking light indicates charging, a solid light indicates charging is complete. The light turns off automatically after 5 minutes in AC charging mode.
After connecting the USB cable to the computer: "DV" indicates internal memory. "Removable Disk" indicates external memory (SD/SDHC/SDXC card). "DVAP" indicates the built-in CAMILEO® Uploader (Windows only).
