Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
Q: How do I adjust the focus if the preview on the LCD screen is not clear while filming? Try alternating between Macro and Normal modes.
The files on the memory card do not appear correctly when the LCD screen displays the "!" mark. The "!" symbol indicates that the SD card speed is too low or the card contains corrupted files. To resolve this, format the SD card using the camcorder instead of the computer (Refer to "Format" on page 46).
Q: Why do some indoor photographs appear dark and blurry? The camcorder extends the exposure time for indoor photographs or in low-light conditions. Keep the camcorder (and lens) steady for a few seconds while taking the photographs. The shutter sounds when a photograph is taken.
Q: How is the battery charged? You must use the supplied AC adapter or USB cable with the camcorder. The camcorder must be turned OFF. A blinking light confirms the battery is charging. A solid light indicates that charging is complete. The light turns off automatically after 5 minutes (in AC charging mode).
