Getting Started:

  • Loading the battery: Remove protective film, then insert Li-ion battery.
  • Charging: Use supplied AC adapter or USB cable. Blinking light indicates charging, solid light indicates complete.
  • Inserting SD Card: Insert until it locks. Press inward to release.
  • Turning On/Off: Flip LCD screen outward or press Power button.
  • Recording Movies: Press Mode button or screen to switch to Movie Record mode. Press OK to begin.
  • Taking Pictures: Press Mode button or screen to switch to Picture Record mode. Press shutter halfway to focus, then fully to capture.

Record Mode:

  • Use buttons like Rolling wheel, Right, Left, Up, Down, OK, Tele/Wide for navigation and functions.
  • LCD touch screen displays information and allows interaction.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Preview on LCD screen is not clear Macro mode may be active. Alternate between Macro and Normal modes.
Flash is not working. Battery charge is low. Charge the battery.
Videocamera is in continuous power mode. Ensure the camera is not in continuous power mode. Refer to manual for power modes.
Memory card files do not appear correctly, showing "!" symbol. SD card speed is too low or files are corrupted. Format the SD card using the camcorder.
Flash is not active when taking photos. Camera is in automatic flash mode. The flash only fires when necessary (e.g., in low light).
Indoor photos appear dark or blurry. Low light conditions extend exposure time. Hold the camcorder steady for a few seconds.
