VCR Operation

Normal Playback: Press PLAY.

Special Effect Playbacks: Use Search, Still Picture, Frame-by-Frame, Slow Motion, Variable playback speed control.

Recording: Use Normal Recording or Timer Recording. Instant Timer Recording is also available.

Dubbing and Editing: Copy from DVD to VCR.

DVD Operation

General Features: Move to another TITLE, CHAPTER/TRACK, Slow Motion, Still Picture, Frame-by-Frame playback.

Playback Controls: Search, Random, Repeat, Repeat A-B, 3D Surround, Time Search, Zoom.

Special DVD Features: Access Title Menu, Disc Menu, Camera Angle, change Audio Language, Subtitle, Screen Saver.

Radio Operation

Presetting: Preset up to 50 stations for FM and AM.

Listening: Select preset stations or tune manually/automatically.

Labeling Stations: Assign names to stored stations.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Cause Solution
No power. The power cord is disconnected. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet securely.
The power is on, but the DVD/VCR Receiver does not work. No disc is inserted. Insert a disc or tape. (Check that the disc or tape indicator in the display window is lit.)
No picture. No tape is inserted. Select the appropriate video input mode on the TV so the picture from the DVD/VCR Receiver appears on the TV screen.
The TV is not set to receive DVD/VCR Receiver signal output. Press the TV/VCR button on the remote control repeatedly to choose VCR mode. VCR MODE appears in the display window.
TV/VCR mode for DVD/VCR Receiver is set to TV MODE. Connect the video cable securely.
No sound. The video cable is not connected securely. Turn on the TV.
The playback picture is poor. The connected TV power is turned off. Select the correct input mode on the audio receiver so you can listen to the sound from the DVD/VCR Receiver.
The DVD/VCR Receiver does not start playback. The equipment connected with the audio cable is not set to receive DVD/VCR Receiver signal output. Connect the audio cable securely.
The remote control does not work properly. The audio cables are not connected securely. Turn on the equipment connected with the audio cable.
