Turning On/Off: Press the [POWER] button to turn the equipment on. The home screen will appear when ready. To turn off, press the [POWER] button again. Ensure no jobs are running and lamps are not flashing before shutting down.

Energy Saving Modes: The equipment offers Automatic Power Save mode, Sleep mode, and Super Sleep mode to conserve energy. These modes can be entered automatically after a period of inactivity or switched to manually using the [ENERGY SAVER] button.

Placing Paper: Pull out the drawer, set the end and side guides to match the paper size and width, place paper face up, and push the drawer back in. Be careful not to pinch your fingers.

Placing Originals: For the Dual Scan Document Feeder, place originals face up on the tray and align the side guides. For the original glass, place the original face down and align it with the left rear corner.

Installing Client Software: Insert the DVD, follow the on-screen prompts for recommended installation, agree to the license, and select the port to connect the equipment.
