Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Remote control display shows 'Failed' during initial setup. Products not prepared for registration. Remove batteries, prepare products for registration (see 'Resetting and preparing for registration'), and repeat initial setup.
Skylight does not close automatically when rain sensor is wet. Rain sensor disabled or limitation due to rapid rain. Check if rain sensor is disabled. If rain is very fine, the heating element should keep the surface dry. If activated, closing takes up to 30 seconds. For sudden rain, water may enter before closing.
Product does not respond to remote control. Incorrect product registration or security code mismatch. Ensure the product is registered. Check and set the same security code for the remote control and the product.
Low battery warning on remote control. Remote control batteries are low. Replace the batteries (type AA, 1.5 volts).
Product operation is blocked or limited. Obstruction detected or rain sensor activated. Remove any obstructions. For rain sensor activation, you can temporarily disable it if needed.
