Basic Operation: The VIMEC V 64-74 stairlift is designed for transporting persons seated on a wheelchair or special seat with a straight rail at a constant gradient (0°-50°). Users must be self-sufficient and familiar with operation. The stairlift can be operated via control boards on the lift or at the floor using a key. Key safety features include emergency stop buttons, safety bars, and sensor edges. It has intended uses for indoor and outdoor environments and specific user characteristics. Improper uses include overloading or use by unauthorized persons. Emergency manual operation is possible using a handwheel in case of power failure. Always keep access to the platform and master switch unrestricted and never overload the lift.
