Warranty Information

One-year warranty covering defects in material or workmanship under normal usage.

Powering On/Off: Flip open the LCD screen to automatically power on. Press the power button to turn on or off. The camcorder has an auto-shutoff feature after 3 minutes of inactivity.
Setting Language & Date/Time: Navigate to Setup Mode via the OK/Menu button, then select Language or Date/Time options. Use the directional buttons to choose settings and OK to confirm.
Changing Modes: Press the DV/DC button to switch between video (DV) and camera (DC) modes. The Playback button allows you to review captured media.
Capturing Videos: Select DV mode. Aim the camcorder, press the DV Shutter button to start recording, and press it again to stop. Use zoom buttons for focus. Videos are saved in AVI format.
Capturing Photos: Select DC mode. Aim the camcorder, and press the DC Shutter button to take a photo.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Power does not turn on.

1. Battery inserted in the wrong direction. Reload battery correctly.

2. Battery has insufficient power. Replace or recharge battery.

Camcorder does not take pictures.

1. Memory is full. Insert a new memory card.

2. Memory card not formatted correctly. Format the memory card again or use a new card.

Image is blurry or out of focus.

1. Camcorder was moving when the image was captured. Hold the camcorder steady when shooting.

Image is not displayed on the LCD monitor.

1. Memory card with non-PICT images loaded. This camcorder cannot display non-PICT images.

Recorded images are not saved in memory.

1. Camcorder was turned off before images were saved. If battery low indicator appears, recharge battery immediately.
