Powering On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the camcorder on. Press it again to turn it off. The camcorder automatically powers off after 60 seconds of inactivity.

Recording Videos

Press the "Record" (REC) button to start recording. Press it again to stop. Videos are automatically saved to the SD memory card.

Setting Resolution

Press the "MODE" button to cycle through resolution options (VGA, QVGA). The selected resolution is displayed on the LCD screen.

Transferring Videos

Connect the camcorder to your computer via USB. Use the "Vivitar Experience Image Manager" software to download videos, or transfer manually by copying files from the "DCIM" folder.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Battery indicator Description
The battery level is full.
The battery level is half.
The battery level is low, indicating to prepare for replacing batteries. If no battery level icon shows, the battery is exhausted and the camcorder will automatically turn off in a few seconds.
