Transferring Images Manually (Windows):

  1. Connect camcorder via USB, power it on.
  2. Select "Open folder to view files".
  3. Open DCIM folder, then the subfolder to view media.
  4. Copy files to computer (e.g., Pictures/My Pictures for photos, Videos/My Videos for videos).

  1. Connect camcorder via USB, power it on.
  2. Device icon appears on desktop; open it.
  3. Open DCIM folder, then the subfolder to view media.

How do I make sure I don't lose important pictures?This camcorder requires a Micro SD card for normal use. If the camera powers off nothing will happen to the images stored on the memory card. We recommend always downloading your photos and videos to your computer as soon as possible to prevent unintentional data loss.
I deleted images using the Vivitar Experience Image Manager. The images were also deleted from my computer. How do I recover images that I accidently deleted?All images deleted using the Vivitar Experience Image Manager are sent to your computer's Recycle or Trash Bin and can be retrieved from there.
