Vivitar offers a one-year warranty for defects in material or workmanship under normal usage.
Press the POWER button to turn the camera on. Press it again to turn it off. An Auto Power Off feature is also available.
Press the MODE button to switch between Photo Capture, Video Capture, and Playback modes. Icons on the LCD indicate the current mode.
In Photo Capture mode, frame your shot using the LCD, zoom using T/Up and W/Down buttons, and press the Shutter button to capture the image.
In Video Capture mode, frame your shot and press the Video Shutter button to start recording. Press it again to stop. The video is saved automatically.
In Playback mode, use the Left/Right buttons to navigate through photos and videos. Press the Video Shutter to play/pause videos.
Use the TV-out cable for TV viewing or the USB cable to connect to a computer for transferring files. Software installation may be required.

| Images not appearing on computer after transfer | Ensure photos were actually taken. Take sample photos and try transferring again. If the camera powers off before upload, photos may not be stored. Upload quickly. If saved to SD card, they should appear. |
