  • Power/Mode Button: Turns the camera on & off. Changes between Video, Photo, Playback modes, and the settings menu.
  • OK Button: Enters and confirms settings. Starts/stops recording in Video Mode. Takes a photo in Photo Mode.
  • Up Button: Scrolls up through settings. Scrolls through videos/photos in Playback Mode. Press and hold to enter Wi-Fi mode. Press to zoom in.
  • Down Button: Scrolls down through settings. Scrolls through videos/photos in Playback Mode. Press and hold to turn on/off Mic. Press to zoom out.
  • Installing Micro SD Card: Locate the Micro SD card slot, insert the card correctly, and push until it clicks. A Class 10 card up to 64GB is recommended.
  • Battery: Use only the provided battery type. Do not short terminals or attempt to open the casing. Remove if unused for long periods.
  • Charging: Connect to a computer, USB power adapter, or car charger. The camera can record while charging and will charge when powered off.
  • Switching Modes: Use the Power/Mode button to cycle through Video, Photo, Playback, and Settings menus.
  • Settings Menu: Navigate with Up/Down buttons, select with OK, and exit with the Power/Mode button.
  • Video Recording: Press OK to start/stop recording. Higher resolutions mean larger files. Loop Recording automatically deletes older files when the card is full. Adjust Exposure Value (EV) for light conditions.
  • Photo Mode: Press OK to take photos. Adjust EV for light conditions.
  • Playback Mode: Use Up/Down to scroll through files, OK to play videos. Long press Up/Down during playback to fast forward/backward.
  • Wi-Fi Usage: Press and hold the Up button or enable in settings. Connect your Smartphone to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password shown on the camera screen) via the WASPcam ROX App.
  • Connecting to Devices: Use an HDMI cable for HD TV playback (camera screen turns off). Use the USB cable to view files on PC/MAC by selecting USB Mode.
