One year limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, with specific exclusions.
Loading the Dishwasher: Remove large food particles. Load items with soiled surfaces facing down and inward. Avoid overlapping. Place plastics, small plates, and glasses in the upper rack. Load sharp items pointing down. Ensure spray arms can spin freely.
Adding Detergent: Use automatic dishwasher detergent only. Add just before starting the cycle. High-quality premeasured tablets or packs are recommended.
Adding Rinse Aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser to the "Full" indicator. This is essential for good drying performance.
Selecting a Cycle and Options: Choose a cycle based on your soil level and load. Options can customize the wash. Press Start/Resume to begin.
After the Cycle: The "Clean" indicator light will glow when the cycle is complete. Allow dishes to cool before unloading.
| If you experience | Recommended solutions |
|---|---|
| Dishwasher does not run or stops during a cycle | Check if the door is closed tightly and latched. Is the right cycle selected? Check household fuse or circuit breaker. Motor may have stopped due to overload; it resets automatically. Ensure water shut-off valve is on. |
| The Clean indicator is flashing | Check the overfill protection float is free. Ensure water supply is on. Check for suds caused by incorrect detergent, forgetting rinse aid cap, or excessive detergent. |
| Dishes do not dry completely | Plastic and nonstick items may need towel drying. Use rinse aid with Heat Dry option. Load properly. Unload bottom rack first. |
| Noise | Normal noises include surging during draining, water valve hissing, dispenser opening, or motor resetting. Ensure filters are installed and items are not blocking wash arms. |
| Spotting/Filming | Use liquid rinse aid. Use the correct amount of detergent. Check if it's hard water (vinegar soak test). Ensure incoming water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Try Hi-Temp Wash or Sani Rinse. Run a vinegar rinse. |
| Dishwasher does not clean completely | Ensure proper loading. Check and clean filters. Select appropriate cycle (Sensor or Heavy). Ensure incoming water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Use correct amount of fresh detergent. Scrape food from dishes. Avoid suds. |
| Dishwasher does not drain | Ensure cycle is complete (Clean light on). If not, press Start/Resume. If connected to a food waste disposer, ensure knockout plug is removed. Check drain hose for kinks and obstructions. Check house fuse or circuit breaker. |
