Quick Start Guide

Using Auto Cycles:

1. Clean lint screen. 2. Load dryer, shut door. 3. Press Power. 4. Select Automatic Cycle. 5. Select Options (if desired). 6. Press and hold START.

Using Manual Cycles:

1. Clean lint screen. 2. Load dryer, shut door. 3. Press Power. 4. Select Manual Cycle. 5. Set Dry Time. 6. Set Temperature. 7. Select Options (if desired). 8. Press and hold START.

Using Steam Cycles:

1. Press Power. 2. Select Steam Cycle. 3. Press and hold START.

Stopping/Pausing:

- To Stop: Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice, open door, or press Power. - To Pause: Open door or press PAUSE/CANCEL once. - To Restart: Close door and press and hold START.

Tips for Best Performance:

- Use appropriate cycles for fabric type. - Avoid fabric softener sheets with steam cycles. - Do not overload the dryer. - Clean lint screen before each load. - Ensure proper venting.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solutions
Dryer will not run Is the dryer door firmly closed?
Was the Start button firmly pressed? (Large loads may require 2-5 seconds.)
Has a household fuse blown, or has a circuit breaker tripped? Is the correct power supply available? (Electric dryers require 240-volt.)
Unusual sounds Dryer had a period of non-use? (Thumping for first few minutes.)
Coin, button, or paper clip caught between drum and dryer?
Are the four legs installed and dryer level?
No heat Has a household fuse blown, or has a circuit breaker tripped? (Electric dryers use 2 fuses/breakers.)
Dryer displaying code message "PF" (Power Failure): Press and hold START to restart.
"L2" (Low/No Line Voltage): Check fuses/breakers, confirm power cord, select Timed Dry heated cycle and restart. Call electrician if persists.
"AF" (Low Airflow): Clean lint screen, check vent for kinks/blockages, confirm vent system length/elbows. Select Timed Dry heated cycle and restart. Clean entire home venting if persists.
"E" Variable (E1, E2, E3): Call for service.
Dryer Results (Not drying satisfactorily, too long, too hot) Is the lint screen clogged with lint?
Has the Air Only temperature setting been selected?
Is the load too large and heavy to dry quickly?
Are clothes damp/wet from Refresh cycle? (Select Enhanced Touch Up.)
Is the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood clogged? (Run dryer 5-10 min, check airflow. Clean if needed.)
Loads are wrinkled Was the load removed promptly? (Use Enhanced Touch Up.) Are loads still wrinkled after Steam Cycle? (Check water connection.) Was the dryer overloaded? (Dry smaller loads.)
Odors Recent painting/varnishing in the area? (Ventilate.) Is water connected? (Check inlet hose.) Remove odors with Quick Refresh cycle.
