Cooktop Safety

Always read and obey all safety messages. Symbols indicate DANGER (immediate hazard) or WARNING (potential hazard).

Touch-Activated Controls

Use the ON keypad for the desired element. Touch the desired power level on the selector bar. Touch OFF to turn off individual areas or ALL OFF/LOCK to turn off all areas. The control panel has Surface On and Hot Surface indicator lights. The ALL OFF/LOCK control turns off all surface cooking areas and the downdraft exhaust system.

Knob Controls

Push in and turn the knob to the desired heat setting between HIGH and LOW. The cooktop has Power On and Hot Surface Indicator lights.

Keep Warm

Use the Keep Warm surface cooking area to keep food warm for up to one hour. Do not use for heating cold foods. Cover food with a lid or foil.

Ceramic Glass Care

Clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Use recommended cooktop cleaner and scraper for stubborn soils. Avoid sliding cookware to prevent scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, bleach, rust remover, or ammonia.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue	Solutions
Nothing will operate	Check household fuse/circuit breaker. Check installation.
Cooktop will not operate	Check control knob setting. Check "All Off Lock" setting. Wipe control panel surface. Allow cooktop to cool for 30 minutes then turn burner on again.
Excessive heat around cookware	Ensure proper cookware size. Remember cooktop surfaces become hot.
Cooktop has flashing lights	Ensure controls are OFF. Clean control panel. Disconnect power for 1 minute, then reconnect. If persists, call for service.
Cooktop cooking results not what expected	Check cookware type and heat level setting. Ensure appliance is level. Cooktop may regulate component temperature automatically; allow to cool for 30 minutes to resume normal performance.
Cooking seems slow/power levels not performing	The cooktop regulates internal component temperature, reducing power. Allow the cooktop to cool for 30 minutes for normal performance.
