Whirlpool provides a one-year limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship, with service provided by authorized technicians.
Lighting Burners: Push down on the control knob and turn counterclockwise to the LITE position. Listen for a clicking sound, indicating the ignitor is sparking. Verify the burner has lit.
Setting Heat: Once the burner is lit, turn the control knob to the desired cooking setting (LO, MED LOW, MED, MED HIGH, HI). The LITE setting is only for lighting the burner; do not cook on this setting.
Surface Burner Operation (Right Side): Only surface burners can be installed and used on the right side.
Grill Burner Operation (Left Side): The LO setting is the lowest for the grill. You can turn the control knob lower than LO for surface burners on the left.
Vent System: The vent system activates automatically when the grill or griddle is used. It can also be turned ON manually using the fan knob when using surface burners.
Regular cleaning is essential. Clean grates, burners, griddle, and vent components as instructed, using recommended cleaning agents. Ensure parts are dry before reassembly or use.
