Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS
Freezer Will Not Operate Check for automatic defrost cycle, grounded outlet, temperature control, fuse/circuit breaker. Contact electrician if problems persist.
Lights Do Not Work Check grounded outlet and bulb connection. Ensure bulb is not burned out.
Water in Defrost Drain Pan Normal during defrost cycle. May take longer to evaporate in high humidity.
Motor Seems to Run Too Much Check door closure, gasket seal, and air circulation requirements. New high-efficiency motors may run longer. Add large amounts of food will also cause longer run times.
Temperature Is Too Warm Check air vents are clear. Add large amounts of food will cause longer run times. Adjust temperature control for surrounding conditions.
The Door Will Not Close Completely or Is Difficult To Open Check for food packages blocking the door, correct shelf/basket position, clean gaskets, and ensure freezer is stable.
Freezer Makes Loud Buzzing/Clicking Sound Turn off temperature alarm for 24 hours if recently plugged in, after defrost, or after power outage. Adding large amounts of food will also cause longer run times.
