Operation

1. POWER: This switch turns AC input on/off for the supply, providing output voltages to the console. Press once to turn on, again to turn off.

2. Operation Monitor: LEDs indicate power status. NORMAL LEDs show active outputs (+48V, +12V, +19V, -19V). UNUSUAL LEDs illuminate if outputs are out of tolerance. A green POWER LED indicates the unit is on. A red THERMAL LED signals overheating and automatic shutdown. A digital indicator shows the AC line voltage.

3. (Grille): Cooling fans draw air through front grilles, filtered by foam elements. Clean filters periodically by rinsing in cool water; avoid solvents.

4. DC OUTPUT (Umbilical Connector): Connects the power supply to the PM4000 console via a multi-pin connector. Ensure the power supply is OFF before connecting/disconnecting.

5. FUSES: Protect the power supply. Replace only with specified fuses (250V Slo-Blow). Internal fuses are for qualified service personnel.

6. (Power Cord): Connects to a grounded (3-wire) outlet of at least 15 amperes capacity.

7. LINE VOLTAGE INDICATOR (Switch): When ON, the front-panel digital indicator displays the line voltage regardless of the POWER switch position.
