  • The THERMAL indicator lights if the internal temperature exceeds a preset threshold.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Possible Cause Solution
CAUTION indicator lights. Note which CAUTION indicator was lit, turn the POWER ON/OFF switch OFF, and contact your Yamaha dealer or maintenance personnel.
Cooling fan stops operating (STOP indicator lights). Check for obstructions to the vents. Ensure the FAN SPEED switch is not set to a mode that would cause the fan to stop. If the problem persists, contact service personnel.
THERMAL indicator lights. Check installation and revise if necessary to allow unimpeded airflow to and from the unit's vents. Ensure cooling vents are not obstructed.
No power to the unit. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and the AC outlet. Check the AC outlet for power. Ensure the POWER ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
Abnormal noise or hum. Ensure proper earthing. Check connections and cables. If the problem persists, contact service personnel.
