Preparation

Charging

Connect the included USB power cable to the charging case and a USB power adapter (5 V DC/min. 0.5 A output) to charge the case and earphones. The orange indicator on the case signifies charging and turns off when complete. Full charge takes about two hours, providing approximately five hours of continuous playback with ANC. Wireless charging with a Qi-compatible charger is also supported.

Making a Bluetooth® connection

For first-time use, pairing is required. Remove the left earphone; its indicator flashes blue/red, entering pairing mode. Remove the right earphone. On your Bluetooth device, select "Yamaha TW-E7A L". A successful pairing results in a solid blue indicator for 20 seconds. If pairing fails, turn earphones off and on again.

Turning on: Remove earphones from the case or press and hold the function key on each earphone (left/right) for two seconds. Indicator lights blue (one second).

Turning off: Place earphones in the charging case or press and hold the function key on each earphone (left/right) for five seconds. Indicator lights red (one second).

Basic operations

Listening to music

• Play/Pause: Press function key once on either earphone.
• Raise volume: Press function key twice on the right earphone.
• Lower volume: Press function key twice on the left earphone.
• Skip to next song: Hold function key on the right earphone for two seconds.
• Previous song/Go back to beginning: Hold function key on the left earphone for two seconds.
• Ambient Sound/Noise Cancellation: Press function key three times on the left earphone.

Using the phone

• Receive call: Press function key once on the right earphone when a call comes in.
• End call: Press function key once on the right earphone during a call.
• Raise conversation volume: Press function key twice on the right earphone.
• Lower conversation volume: Press function key twice on the left earphone.
• Ignore call: Hold function key on the right earphone for two seconds when a call comes in.
