To Service Personnel
  • Components with special characteristics are marked with $\Delta$ and must be replaced with identical parts.

  • Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention procedures, including grounding and using anti-static tools.

  • Handle the DVD mechanism with care; it is sensitive to drops and shocks.
Firmware Update Procedure:
  1. Download the program downloader and firmware.
  2. Connect the unit to a PC using a specific RS232C cable and adapter.
  3. Set the RS232C conversion adapter switch to "FLASH UCOM".
  4. Start the FlashSta.exe program.
  5. Select the program, internal flash memory, and the correct COM port.
  6. Select the firmware file and click "OK".
  7. Set the baud rate to 115200bps and program intervals to 40ms.
  8. Click "E.P.R." to erase, then "OK" to start writing.
  9. After completion, click "OK" and then "Exit".
  10. Verify firmware version and checksum using the self-diagnostic function.
  11. Disconnect the power cable.
