Loading Film

  1. Unlock the back cover by pulling the Slide Lock down.
  2. Insert a new roll of 35mm film.
  3. Thread the film leader into the Take-Up Spool.
  4. Advance the film with the lever, ensuring perforations engage sprockets.
  5. Close the back cover and press the shutter release button.
  6. Repeat advancing the film twice more, pressing the shutter release each time.
  7. Advance the film one more time; the figure '1' should appear in the Exposure Counter Window.

Setting Film Speed

Set the ASA/DIN film speed dial (on top of the Film Advance Lever) to match the loaded film's speed for reference.

Exposure Setting

Use the Light Value Scale (LVS) or set shutter speed and aperture conventionally. The LVS system links aperture and shutter speed for simplified exposure control.

Focusing

Use the viewfinder to sight your subject. The rangefinder in the center shows a diamond. Align the diamond with the subject and adjust the Focusing Lever until the two images overlap into one clear image.

Unloading Film

  1. Turn the Film Release Dial to "R". The Rewind Crank will pop up.
  2. Flip the crank handle and wind in the direction of the arrow.
  3. Once the film is fully rewound, open the back cover and remove the cassette.
  4. Turn the Film Release Dial back to "A" and fold the crank handle into its slot.
