Basic Operation Summary

Before Using: Wash the interior with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Dry thoroughly. Do not use soap or detergent.

Temperature Control: The thermostat controls the temperature. Turn the knob towards higher numbers for lower temperatures, and lower numbers for higher temperatures. The pilot lamp indicates mains connection. The warning light indicates unsafe storage temperature.

Freezing Fresh Foods: Activate fast freeze 2-3 hours before adding food. Place food in the top compartment. Wrap food well. Mark packs with contents and dates.

Ice Making: Fill ice trays with water and place in the freezer. Twist tray to release cubes.

Thawing: Thaw deep frozen foods in the fridge or at room temperature. Any accidentally thawed food should be eaten or thrown away. Never refreeze defrosted cooked food.

Defrosting: Remove frost when it exceeds 5mm using the provided scraper. Wrap food, switch off, open doors, and collect water. Dry thoroughly and restart the appliance before replacing food.

Cleaning: Clean after defrosting using a cloth with warm water and bicarbonate of soda. Do not use detergents or abrasive powders. Clean exterior occasionally. Clean motor compressor and condenser with a brush or vacuum.
