Switching On: Insert the plug, turn the temperature regulator clockwise to a medium setting. If the alarm light blinks and an acoustic alarm sounds, push the FastFreeze switch to turn off the alarm. The light will blink until the internal temperature is safe for frozen food.
Switching Off: Turn the Temperature regulator to the "O" position, then remove the plug from the wall socket.
Temperature Regulation: The temperature is regulated automatically. Adjust by turning the temperature regulator clockwise (lower temperature) or counterclockwise (higher temperature). Consider room temperature, door opening frequency, food quantity, and appliance location. A medium setting is generally suitable.
FastFreeze Function: Used for pre-freezing and fast freezing. Activate at least 24 hours before placing food. Press the switch for 2-3 seconds to activate. The light turns on. Place food and keep the function on for 24 hours. It stops automatically after 52 hours or can be deactivated by pressing the switch again.
Daily Use: The freezer compartment is for freezing fresh food and storing frozen food. For fresh food, activate FastFreeze 24 hours prior. Store food evenly distributed. Remove drawers except the bottom one for large quantities of food, leaving 15 mm from the door.
High Temperature Alarm: Alarm light and sound indicate a temperature increase (e.g., power failure). Press the Alarm reset switch to silence. Alarm turns off automatically when normal conditions are restored.
Door Open Alarm: Acoustic alarm sounds if the door is left open for about 80 seconds. Closes automatically when the door is shut. Press the Alarm reset switch to deactivate.
