Plug into the nearest wall socket. The function indicator light (A) will illuminate. Turn the thermostat knob (E) to a medium setting; the temperature alarm light (C) will light up. Wait for the temperature alarm light (C) to turn off, indicating the optimum temperature (-18°C) has been reached. Adjust thermostat as needed based on room temperature and door openings. To turn off, set thermostat to '0'. The refrigerator compartment will remain operating.
Turn the N/S knob (D) to 'S'. The quick-freezing indicator light (B) will illuminate.
Lights up if the freezer temperature rises, jeopardizing food storage. It's normal for this light to stay on when first switching on or adding new food until the required temperature is reached.
Indicates internal temperature. Blue: normal. Red: alarm. May show above -18°C when large amounts of food are freezing or door is left open.
Use the 4-star compartment. For quick freezing, turn thermostat to the coldest setting (higher numbers) at least 3 hours before loading. This may cause refrigerator compartment temperature to drop below 0°C; reset if necessary. Wrap food in airtight packaging. Freeze in small portions. Note the list of foods and their maximum storage times.
Ensure frozen food was stored correctly and transferred quickly. Do not exceed producer's storage recommendations. Open door infrequently. In case of power failure, do not open the door. If power cut is short, food is usually unaffected.
Thaw deep-frozen or frozen food in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature. Small pieces can be cooked directly from the freezer, but cooking time will be longer.
Fill provided trays with water and place in the freezer. Do not use metallic instruments to remove trays.
