Loading the Camera: Open the back door, pull out the rewind knob, insert film cassette, attach film leader to take-up spool, close back door. Cock the shutter twice to advance film. Set exposure counter to '0' and film speed on the dial.
Setting Exposure: Use the TTL semi-automatic exposure meter. Cock the shutter, press the release button halfway, and adjust shutter speed or aperture until the needle aligns with the index mark in the viewfinder.
Focusing: Use the microraster or ground glass in the viewfinder. Turn the focusing ring until the image is sharpest. Distance scale and depth-of-field scales on the lens can also be used.
Taking Pictures: Cock the shutter, ensure focus and exposure are set, then smoothly press the release button.
Unloading Film: Rewind the film into the cassette using the rewind crank when the counter shows 36 exposures.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Remedy
Film does not advance when shutter is cocked. Shutter not fully cocked. Wind the shutter completely.
Rewind knob does not rotate during film advance. Film is loose in the cassette. Ensure film is wound tightly onto the take-up spool.
Image is blurry. Camera shake or incorrect focus. Hold camera steady, use tripod, ensure proper focusing.
Exposure is too light or too dark. Incorrect exposure setting. Adjust shutter speed or aperture based on the exposure meter reading.
Self-timer does not operate. Self-timer mechanism not wound or diaphragm selector not set to 'M'. Wind the self-timer lever fully and set diaphragm selector to 'M'.
