Warranty Summary

Basic Operation Summary:

  • Place the cooker on a dry, flat surface.
  • Add water collector.
  • Connect power cord.
  • Open the lid and add ingredients.
  • Close the lid properly and ensure safety lock pin is engaged.
  • Set pressure valve to SEALED.
  • Plug in and turn on the cooker.
  • Select pre-programmed setting.
  • Press START.
  • Once cooking is complete, cooker enters WARM mode.
  • Release pressure via EXHAUST valve when ready.
  • Open lid and serve.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Difficult to close the lid The lid seal ring is not in place. Put the lid seal ring correctly in place.
The float valve has jammed the push rod. Gently push the rod with your hand.
Difficult to open the lid The float valve does not drop down after the steam and pressure has been vented/ released. Gently lift up the float valve using chopsticks to release steam until the float valve drops, then turn the lid to open it.
Steam leaking around the lid Lid seal ring has not been put on to the lid or has not been placed correctly. Place the lid seal ring correctly on to the lid.
Food is stuck in the lid seal ring. Clean the lid seal ring.
Damaged or worn lid seal ring. Replace the lid seal ring. See page 16 for contact details.
The lid is not properly secured. Check that the lid is secured according to the directions.
Steam leaking around the float valve Food stuck in the seal ring of the float valve. Clean the seal ring of the float valve.
The seal ring of the float valve is worn out. Replace the seal ring of the float valve. See page 17 for contact details.
The float valve will not rise Too little food and water inside the removable inner pot Add food and water according to the directions.
Leakage around the lid or the pressure limiting safety valve. Send to an authorized Tevo repair centre. See page 17 for contact details.
The pressure limiting safety valve is not in the PRESSURE position. Correct its position.
