Warranty Summary

Cabela's warrants to the original retail purchaser that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
  1. Place the dehydrator on a flat, dry, and stable surface, ensuring 12" (31cm) clearance on all sides for ventilation.
  2. Open the door by pulling firmly from the center, using the Cabela's logo area. Let it rest horizontally.
  3. Slide trays out to load food.
  4. Prepare and load food onto trays, ensuring no overhang and 3/4" space between items.
  5. Softly place loaded trays into the dehydrator.
  6. Ensure the drip tray is in place at the bottom.
  7. Plug the power cord into a 120V, 60Hz, 15A outlet.
  8. Turn the dial knob to the desired temperature for drying.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Answer
Nothing turns on Test the outlet with another appliance. Test the dehydrator on a known working outlet.
Fan makes a rubbing noise Shipping may have forced trays into the fan screen. Remove trays, blow on fan blade to locate rubbing. Gently adjust screen with pliers if needed.
No heat, but fan works Check for loose wires, ensure heat is turned up. If no heat, contact customer service.
Not reaching temperature External thermometer readings may vary. Variance due to ambient temperature, food coldness, poor air circulation (overloading). Use in ambient temp above 65°F for best performance.
