Operation Summary

The Duraflame 10HM8000 heater can be operated using either the control panel on the unit or the remote control.

  • Power: Turns the heater on and off, and switches to standby mode. Holding the power button on the control panel switches between °F and °C.
  • Timer: Allows setting a timer for operation, with settings from 30 minutes to 8 hours, and an OFF setting.
  • Temperature Setting: Use the up and down buttons to adjust the desired temperature, ranging from 50 °F to 97 °F.
  • Cool Down Cycle: After the heater is turned off, the fan continues to run briefly to cool internal components.
