The iDRIVE throttle controller modifies the response of your accelerator pedal. Here's a summary of its operation:

  • Installation: Plug the iDRIVE into the accelerator pedal assembly and connect the factory plug to the iDRIVE.
  • Transmission Setting: Set the iDRIVE to match your transmission type (Manual '00' or Automatic '88') by holding the Mode button and using the Set button.
  • Mode Selection: Use the Mode button to switch between modes: Factory (--), Economy (E), Ultimate (U), and Automatic Control (AC).
  • Setting Adjustment: Use the Set button to adjust the sensitivity setting within Economy and Ultimate modes (0-9).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Performance issues, loss of power, fault codes, fluctuating throttle Check all connections. Disconnect and reconnect the iDRIVE, ensuring plugs are correctly seated and pins are not damaged.
