The EVCON EB series electric furnace is designed for downflow/upflow installation. Key operational aspects include:

• Installation: Must be installed according to enclosed instructions and local/national codes. Incorrect installation voids warranty and may cause harm.
• Clearance: Zero clearance to combustible materials is permitted for the furnace exterior and ductwork. Minimum 24 inches of service access is required in front.
• Return Air: Sufficient free area opening is needed for return air, depending on heating or cooling requirements.
• Duct System: Designed to operate at a given static pressure; ductwork should ensure static pressure rating is not exceeded.
• Wiring: Requires power supply and thermostat wiring, with appropriate wire and fuse sizes as per diagrams and tables.
