To operate the GRACO AFFIX™ Booster Seat, begin by assembling the booster seat, which includes attaching the armrests, cupholder, seat pad, and back support if applicable. Then, install the booster seat in a forward-facing vehicle seat with a lap and shoulder belt system, ensuring it's firmly against the vehicle seat back. Secure your child in the booster seat, positioning the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts correctly as shown in the manual, making sure the shoulder belt lies across the child's shoulders and the lap belt is low and snug on the hips. Adjust the head support for proper fit. For vehicles where the shoulder belt doesn't fit correctly, use the provided shoulder belt positioning clip as instructed.
