Rear-Facing Installation with Base (Lower Anchor):

1. Remove lower anchor connectors.
2. Ensure lower anchor strap is in rear-facing belt path.
3. Extend lower anchor strap.
4. Place base in vehicle back seat and check level.
5. Connect lower anchor connectors to vehicle anchors.
6. Tighten lower anchor strap and test for tightness.
7. Attach car seat to base.
8. Check level indicator again.

Securing Child:

1. Loosen harness straps.
2. Release chest clip and buckle.
3. Place child in seat.
4. Place harness straps over shoulders and check height.
5. Buckle and chest clip.
6. Pull slack from waist and tighten harness.
7. Raise chest clip to armpit level and check tightness.
