Problem Solution
None of the LEDs Turn On
  1. Ensure that you are using the correct power adaptor.
  2. Ensure that the power adaptor is connected to the CGNM-2250 and the wall socket correctly.
  3. Ensure that the power source is functioning correctly.
  4. Disconnect and re-connect the power adaptor.
  5. Consult your vendor if the problem persists.
One of the LEDs does not Display as Expected
  1. Ensure that you understand the LED’s normal behavior.
  2. Ensure that the CGNM-2250’s hardware is connected correctly.
  3. Disconnect and re-connect the power adaptor.
  4. Consult your vendor if the problem persists.
I Forgot the CGNM-2250’s IP Address
  1. The CGNM-2250’s default LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1.
  2. Locate the CGNM-2250’s GUI by entering the LAN domain suffix.
  3. Find the CGNM-2250’s IP address by looking up your computer’s default gateway.
  4. Reset the CGNM-2250 to its factory defaults if you still cannot access.
I Forgot the CGNM-2250’s Admin Username or Password
  1. The default username is cusadmin, and the default password is password.
  2. Reset the CGNM-2250 to its factory defaults if default credentials do not work.
I Cannot Access the CGNM-2250 or the Internet
  1. Ensure that you are using the correct IP address.
  2. Check your network’s hardware connections and LEDs.
  3. Make sure that your computer is on the same subnet.
  4. Connect via LAN port instead of wireless if attempting wireless connection.
  5. Reset the CGNM-2250 to its factory defaults if above steps fail.
  6. Contact your vendor if the problem persists.
I Cannot Access the Internet and the DS and US LEDs Keep Blinking
  1. Check the Status > DOCSIS WAN screen’s Network Access field to ensure internet access is enabled by service provider.
I Cannot Connect My Wireless Device
  1. Ensure that your wireless client device is functioning properly and configured correctly.
  2. Ensure that the wireless client is within the CGNM-2250’s radio coverage area.
  3. Ensure that the CGNM-2250 and the wireless client are set to use the same wireless mode and SSID and security settings.
  4. Re-enter any security credentials.
  5. Ensure that you are pressing the button on both CGNM-2250 and wireless client within 2 minutes of one another if using WPS’s PBC.
