- Adjust the fuel valve to ON.
- Start the engine, then adjust the chock handle to OFF (for hot engine restart, adjust chock handle to ON).
- Remove the throttle switch handle about 1/3 from low to high.
- Turn the ON/OFF Switch to ON.
- Lightly pull the starter grip until resistance, then quickly pull with force, and slowly release.
- Start the engine. If chock handle is OFF, turn to ON, and preheat engine.
