Operation Summary:

  • Starting the Engine:
    • Open the fuel cock.
    • Set throttle lever to 'CHOKE' for cold engine or 'FAST' for warm engine.
    • Turn the switch key to 'START'.
    • After engine starts, return key to 'ON' position.
  • Mowing:
    • Start engine and allow warm-up.
    • Select desired forward speed (if applicable).
    • Engage blade by pressing yellow button and pushing blade control lever forward.
    • Walk at a steady pace, avoiding slopes over 20°.
  • Stopping the Engine:
    • Move throttle control to 'SLOW' position.
    • Turn switch key to 'OFF'.
    • Close the fuel cock.
